GPS location market finds its way
Monday 12 December 2005 According to industry analysts, personal location-based services will represent an annual $7 billion revenue opportunity in North America by 2006, with European markets offering an additional $9 billion annually in location-based services.
One company set to take advantage of these emerging technologies is UK company KinderGUARD Ltd. who are developing a technically advanced Integrated Bio-metric Sensor and GPS Tracker Device that enables parents / carers to locate their children at a point in time and space and assess their current well being.
